Bio -
I am a qualified integrative counsellor, have a BA(hons) degree in philosophy and psychology, am insured and am a registered member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). I am also a shinrin yoku practitioner, certified and accredited through Nature and Therapy UK. Prior to working as a therapist, I have worked as a peer-mentor, a special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) teaching assistant, a residential support worker supporting vulnerable young people and as an assisted living care worker. My approach is based in a friendly and open attitude to those who I am supporting, which draws from personal ethics based in care and responsibility. As well as these personal ethics, my practice works in accordance with the BACP ethical framework.
